DPW Pick-ups and Schedules

Spring Clean-Up- Mid March through the end of April
Weeds, leaves and lawn debris are to be placed in the street.

Branch Pick-up- March (weather permitting) through September

• Place branches in street 3rd full week of each month (April 14, May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15)
• Branches will be picked up 4th full week of each month

Grass Pick-up – Click Here for 2013 Schedule

• Grass must be in garbage cans no larger than 30 gallons
• Grass in piles in the street will not be picked up
• No grass in plastic bags or landscaper barrels
• Do not mix grass with sticks, leaves or garden debris. It will not be picked up
• All grass must be out the night before your scheduled pick up day

Appliance Pick-up – February though October
Appliance/Metal pick up is on Mondays by appointment only.  Appointments can be made no later than 3:00 pm the Friday before. (e-mail:  dpw@ourclark.com; phone:  732.428.8402)  Materials Picked Up: Appliances, grills (no propane), any metal items, cast iron, etc. (No concrete or plastic please).

Leaf Pick-up – Begins October 14 and runs through December 16.
*Please put leaves in piles on the street in front of your home.   Please make sure leaves are a foot from the curb to allow water flow and that they do not block  any catch basins.

Electronic Drop-off- Electronics (i.e.,  TV’s, VCR’s,  computer parts, cd’s, dvd’s, fax machines, printers, etc.) can be dropped off the last Saturday of the month (excluding May, August, November and December)  at the DPW yard located on Westfield Avenue (behind the Clark Police Department). Items can be dropped off between 9:00 a.m. and  1:00 p.m.  There will be someone there to assist you in getting materials out of your car.

Motor Oil Drop-off- Used motor oil can be dropped off at the DPW yard located on Westfield Avenue (behind Clark Police Department), Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
