 During
the last nine years, out of 566 local governments in New
Jersey, Clark has moved up from “nowhere” to 40th, then 33rd
and now to 24th on New Jersey Monthly’s list of “Best Places
to Live in New Jersey”. Most recently, Business Week ranked
Clark #10 on the top 10 list of the “Best Affordable Suburbs
in America”!
 To
continue to support our community involvement, I would like
to discuss the 2010 Census. As your Mayor, I implore each
and every one of you to “Take 10” this year and help our
community be the role model citizen group of not only the
State of New Jersey, but the Country as well!
The
stakes are high; an accurate count of the local population
helps to ensure that your constituents receive their fair
share of federal funding. This funding includes resources
for services, such as health care, education and roads.
The good news is that the 2010 Census questionnaire is
one of the shortest in history – just 10 questions that only
take about 10 minutes to complete. Just click on the “2010
Census” logo to get started!
Please complete your
census forms between March 15 and April 15, 2010.
As
your Mayor, I am asking you to continue to take Pride in
Clark and respond promptly to the Census.
