Active Kids Program Comes to Clark

Township officials are excited to announce the launch of Active Kids + Minds, a new after-school pilot program designed to promote the physical and mental well-being of local youth. Open to children in grades 2-4, the program will be held once a week at the Clark Recreation Center.

Participants will enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including exercise, fun games, mindfulness techniques, and lessons in nutrition. With only 20 spots available, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

This initiative aligns with the NJ Mayors’ Wellness Initiative commitment to fostering healthier lifestyles for all residents. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to boost your child's wellness and growth!

Get ready for the exciting release of Y2K on December 6! This thrilling film takes viewers back to the year 1999, when a group of high school friends must race against time to stop a looming disaster as the world fears a Y2K meltdown.

The best part? Keep an eye out for glimpses of our beloved Recreation Center, and if you look closely, you might just spot two local favorites.  Mayor Bonaccorso and Recreation Director, Ralph Bernardo were pulled in on the movie’s final scenes.
