Clark's Captain Acabou Receives Special Accolades

Captain Acabou Was recognized with the 2024 Hometown Hero Recognition Award by Congressman Tom Kear, Jr on October 11.

Acabou has demonstrated leadership and commitment in his role as Captain of the Clark Police Department. Having successfully transitioned into an administrative capacity while overseeing the patrol function, Captain Acabou has skillfully managed the department’s daily operations with a level of professionalism that reflects his dedication to law enforcement.

His unwavering commitment to the department extends well beyond the typical workday, consistently making himself available at all hours to address any need that arises. Captain Acabou’s passion for public service is evident not only in his daily responsibilities but also in his proactive efforts to improve both the safety and operational efficiency of the police department.

His outstanding contributions and tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed, as his work continues to play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of the community.
