Donations for Clark Fallen Hero Memorial Are Needed

Each Memorial Day, our residents gather for the Clark Memorial Day Parade and a ceremony recognizing our Fallen Heroes in front of ALJ High School. However, as Retired CPD Captain William Duffy has pointed out, there are no monuments recognizing five of our Fallen Heroes from other conflicts, nor a dedicated tribute to our four Vietnam Fallen Heroes.

With your support, we hope to commission bronze plaques memorializing these heroes and affix them to the boulders surrounding the World War II monument. This project will not only honor their sacrifice but also create a more unified and reverent space for future generations to pay their respects.

We need your help to make this vision a reality. Donations, large or small, will bring us closer to our goal. Funds raised by April 1, 2025, will go toward creating the plaques and enhancing the memorial. Any excess funds will be used for the upkeep of all Clark military memorials and to support other initiatives honoring our veterans.

For more information about the fundraising efforts and to make a donation, please watch this quick video.
