Clark Celebrates Seniors at June Birthday Breakfast

The first of Clark’s two annual Senior Citizen Birthday Breakfasts was recently held at the Gran Centurions, honoring residents with birthdays from January through June. Mayor Angel Albanese and Township Council President Bill Smith joined attendees for a warm morning filled with hot food, singing, and birthday cake for all.

This long-standing tradition brings the community together to celebrate our seniors and share good company in a festive setting. A second breakfast will take place in October for those with birthdays from July through December.

Clark seniors who would like to receive invitations to future events like this can call 732-388-3600 ext. 3003 to be added to the mailing list.

Clark, You're Making a Difference - One Pint at a Time!

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) is honored to be recognized by the New York Blood Center for their continued support of local blood drives. Since January, 397 pints have been collected at the squad house — all thanks to the incredible generosity of our Clark community!

With New Jersey currently facing a blood emergency — and less than a 1–2 day supply of critical blood types — every donation matters. Each pint can save up to three lives, helping trauma victims, surgery patients, and those undergoing cancer treatment.

Special thanks to Genevieve Toscano, Account Manager at NY Blood Center, who works closely with CVES to organize these lifesaving drives. She has scheduled donation days every Tuesday in July and August from 1–7 PM at the squad house (875 Raritan Road), which offers convenient, off-street, lighted parking.

Donors can give whole blood every 56 days, and platelet donors can give twice a month. The FDA has recently expanded eligibility — visit nybc.org to learn more.

Golf Clinic Wraps Up with a Swing at Hyatt Hills

The final session of the four-week Golf Clinic at Hyatt Hills brought smiles and a sense of accomplishment as participants wrapped up their lessons with local golf pros. After honing their skills over the course of the clinic, each golfer was awarded a medal in recognition of their hard work and progress. Great job to all who participated!

Tutela Training Hosts Parent-Child Workout for a Great Cause

On May 17, Tutela Training Systems hosted a high-energy “Parent-Child Workout” at their gym, welcoming kids as young as six and their parents for an hour of fitness and fun. The event saw a great turnout and raised $500, which was generously donated in full to Clark Recreation. Special thanks to Tutela Training and owner Chris Tutela for supporting the community!
