AED Dedicated at Bartell Park by Aliver Foundation

Thanks to the efforts of the ALiver Foundation, Bartell Park is now home to a new outdoor AED (Automated External Defibrillator) accessible to the public. Mayor Angel Albanese welcomed Jill Pall, who survived sudden cardiac arrest, to speak about how her experience inspired her mission to raise awareness and make life-saving equipment more widely available. The AED works through a call to 9-1-1, where the dispatcher provides a code to open the secure cabinet. Today’s AEDs are designed to talk users through the process, making them easy to operate in an emergency. The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad was on hand offering free CPR and AED demonstrations, with members of the Clark Police Department, Fire Department, and Town Council also in attendance.
