Clark Seniors Celebrate Birthdays

Mayor Angel Albanese, members of the Township Council, and leadership from the Clark Police Department joined our senior residents on Friday, October 10, 2025, for the Clark Senior Birthday Breakfast.

Held twice a year, this special event celebrates our seniors’ birthdays in two gatherings — one for January through June and another for July through December — each filled with good food, laughter, and community spirit.

Mayor Albanese has made it a tradition for the most “senior” seniors in each birthday group to cut the cake. This time, the honor went to Marie O’Brien and Phyllis Stalker, who led the celebration with smiles and plenty of cheer.

It was a joyful morning spent celebrating another trip around the sun with our cherished senior residents!

If you are a Clark senior and wish to be added to the Mayor's mailing list for special senior events such as this, please call 732-388-3600 ext. 3003 and leave a message with your name, address and phone number or email ncastellucci@ourclark.com and request to be added.

From Union County...

Union County sent a reminder to all voters to return vote-by-mail ballots.  The message is here:

UNION COUNTY, NJ— October 17, 2025 — Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi reminds all voters who received a vote-by-mail ballot to complete and return it before the Election Day deadline.

“My office sent out more than 44,000 ballots, and to date, only 13,244, or approximately 33%, have been returned to the Board of Elections,” Clerk Joanne Rajoppi said. “I urge voters to open their ballots when they receive them, take a few minutes to fill them out and then return them either to the post office or deposit them in one of the many election drop boxes around the county. This way you are ensured that your vote will be counted on election day.”

Voters have three ways to return a completed ballot before Election Day on November 4. To vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked on or before November 4, and received by the Union County Board of Elections by November 10. Alternately, ballots can be retuned in one of Union County’s secure drop boxes by 8:00pm on November 4th. Voters can also deliver their ballot directly to the Union County Board of Elections Office from 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, at 271 N Broad Street in Elizabeth.

Residents have until October 28th to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot. Applications can be found on https://unioncountyvotes.com/vote-by-mail-ballot-application.

For more information about early voting, drop box locations, or Election Day deadlines, visit www.unioncountyvotes.com or contact the office at 908-527-4996 or email ucvote@ucnj.org.
