Clark’s Annual Trunk or Treat Draws Huge Crowd

Clark’s annual Trunk or Treat was a frightfully fun success! It was a beautiful day filled with creativity, community spirit, and plenty of candy. The event was packed with volunteers who decorated their cars and handed out treats to a mass of trick-or-treaters in costume.

Families also enjoyed the corn maze, haunted house, bounce houses, and a costume contest that crowned some very spooky—and adorable—winners.

A big thank-you to the Clark PBA and Clark Recreation Department for hosting another fantastic community event that brings smiles (and a few fun scares) to residents every Halloween season!

New at Recreation: Chair Volleyball for Seniors

Clark Recreation has introduced an exciting new program for our senior community — Chair Volleyball! This fun and fast-growing activity is sweeping senior centers across the country, and Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo quickly jumped on board by purchasing equipment and opening registration.

Nearly 30 seniors have already signed up to play! Chair Volleyball follows many of the same rules as traditional volleyball — players rotate, games go to 15 points, and there’s one key rule: players must remain seated during play. A beach ball is used instead of a volleyball to ensure safe, gentle fun — and no spiking allowed!

The class offers seniors a great way to stay active, socialize, and share some laughs. Sessions are held Friday mornings from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and are free for Clark seniors.

Come on out and give this new sport a try — it’s guaranteed fun from the first serve!

The Chamber of Commerce invites the community to an exciting new event — the first-ever Wine + Spirits Festival! Guests can embark on a tasting journey like no other, sipping and savoring an incredible variety of wines and spirits while feeling as if they’re traveling the world — one glass at a time.

Attendees will have the chance to meet the passionate vendors behind the bottles, hear their unique stories, and discover new favorites to elevate their holiday celebrations. The event will also feature a wine education class, offering expert tips on tasting and pairing just in time for the festive season.

Adding to the experience are two centerpiece classes hosted by Bloom Society Flowers:

  1. Long & Low Centerpiece Class – A traditional elongated arrangement featuring candles, perfect for rectangular or oblong tables.

  2. Round Centerpiece Class – A full, balanced design ideal for round or square tables.
