Albanese and Hoff Victorious in Clark Election

In the recent municipal election, Mayor Angel Albanese, successfully retained her seat, defeating challenger John Greaves in the race for Mayor. Albanese, was first appointed in January 2025.

Councilwoman Jessica Hoff, who was appointed earlier this year to fill Albanese’s former council seat, will continue serving following the Election Day results.

According to unofficial results released by the Union County Clerk, Mayor Angel Albanese received 4,527 votes (62.84%) over challenger John M. Greaves, who received 2,662 votes (36.95%).

Albanese now becomes Clark’s first female mayor elected by residents.

In the race for Council Member-at-Large Hoff won with 4,291 votes (60.87%), defeating William S. Grzyb, Jr., who received 2,752 votes (39.04%).

According to the Union County Clerk’s office, these results reflect 100% of districts reporting and are considered unofficial until certified by Union County election officials.

Clark Shines Green for Veterans

In recognition of Veterans Day, Clark Township will illuminate the municipal building green as part of Operation Green Light, a national initiative supporting military veterans and raising awareness about resources available to them at the local, county, state, and federal level.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to participate by changing one outside light green, to show support for veterans. The green light is a simple but meaningful way to let veterans know they are seen, appreciated, and supported. Share your participation on social media using #OperationGreenLight.
