Dear Residents,
As winter weather continues to impact our area, Clark Township reminds residents to take a few simple steps to help keep our community safe and accessible.
Residents are asked to clear sidewalks edge to edge, ensuring safe passage for pedestrians, schoolchildren, and those with mobility needs. When clearing driveways and walkways, please do not shovel or plow snow into the roadway, as this can create hazards for motorists and slow down snow removal operations.
It is also important to keep fire hydrants clear of snow so emergency responders can access them quickly if needed.
Finally, residents should avoid any downed wires and immediately call 911 if one is encountered. Downed lines may still be energized and pose a serious safety risk.
Please remember to use 911 for emergencies only. For non-emergency police assistance, residents may contact the Clark Police Department at 732-388-3434. Power outages should be reported directly to PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep Clark safe during winter weather.
