Grass Removal
The Department of Public Works will begin removing grass curbside starting Tuesday, May 5, through October 6, 2026. After that week, grass can be set out with leaf piles for co-collection throughout fall.
Grass clippings must be bagged in paper biodegradable bags for pick-up. Plastic bags are not permissible. Any grass placed in the street that isn’t in a biodegradable bag will receive a violation letter from DPW.
