Child Car Seat Inspection Program

Using a child safety seat correctly is essential to offering the best protection possible to a child traveling in a motor vehicle.   Residents can have their child seat installation checked locally at:

Wednesdays and Thursdays 

7:30am – 11:00am


Please make sure that children are properly protected while traveling in a motor vehicle. Get seats examined and then drive sober, safe and buckled.

Parking Permits

Community members may request a Residential Parking Permit Application online for those areas of the Township where they are required.  

Street Use Permits

Residents wishing to hold residential block parties, must first canvass the affected households and capture signatures on a Petition for Street Closure.  Then upload that form with a complete Street Use Application for Permit .

Handicap Parking

Applications for Temporary Handicap Placards may be obtained through New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s website (PDF) or in person between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Clark Police Department. 

 Temporary Handicap Placard Applications must be submitted in person, to the local Police Department. 

 Requesting individuals must complete the application, have a doctor complete the appropriate application portion and submit a check or money order in the amount of $4.00 payable to: NJ Motor Vehicle Commission

 Temporary Handicap Placards are effective for a period of six (6) months from the date-of-issue.
